Cannot Preview Some .JPG Files about image-view HOT 5 CLOSED

The image snippet I sent is from another editor. I sent this to help you
diagnose the problem. The build of atom I'm using is: 0.95.0-c77a6b1 on
Windows 8.0

@ozone702 Could you perhaps share the problematic image (e.g. here in the comments, or by providing a link)? That would help in investigating the issue.

I figured out the problem. It had nothing to do with the format of the image file. It has to do with trying to view the file (or any other file type for that matter) on a network drive that is not a mapped drive (in Windows).

Thanks for investigating! I'm guessing it's 🆒 to close this issue then, and you can reopen a new one based on your findings (in atom/atom, if it's related to Atom).
