This should be fixed now. It was only a problem in Web Audio API supporting browsers (not Firefox), and it turns out I was just being dumb and not using the API properly. It can do the down/up mixing for us! Thanks again for reporting, and let us know if you have further issues.

this seems still to be an issue with mono ALAC files, playing back twice the speed - although the track duration is correctly parsed
