Have you used the schematics provided?

Gonna upload an updated version when I get home :)

Check out the new code provided, it's a revision from the original one, better ui and stability, however the arduino freezes once in a while, a watchdog seems to help it but not all the time, still looking for a solution 😕

I use the schematics provided in GitHub, yes.

Ok! I check it and comment here :)

Thanks!!! :)

Let me know when you experience crashes, I am doing a livestream today so no chances for me to test the scooter. From yesterday I think it was when I was driving hard and applying both brake ant throttle :) Let me know ;)

I compiled new code and show this:

A friend say me that the connection is:
image

And I soldered like this up picture.
Its correct?

Doubt: The BUS cable should I solder it to a resistor pin and that pin to the Arduino RXI and then, the other resistor pin solder it to the diode and the other end of the diode to the Arduino TX input?

I use this exact scheme without a problem

Send me a picture of the top part of your scooter with the pcb

from m365_dashboard.

McKaNaN avatar McKaNaN commented on May 30, 2024

Nothing. I cant connect BUS with screen.
All time shows same message: "BUS not connected! No data to display!"

I have question:

This pins are correct?

augisbud avatar augisbud commented on May 30, 2024

Yes the pins are correct, can you unscrew the pcb and send me a pic

The PCB connections not change :)

Ok, I'm going to flash the firmware to my scooter to make sure it's ok
---EDIT---
I just flashed it and it works for me, when I disconnected the resistor from the diode then it showed NO BUS but when I connected them again it worked without an issue

I used this connection picture. I think that is the same that you but I cant understand where is the problem :(

augisbud avatar augisbud commented on May 30, 2024

Me neither, are those really 1n4148 diode, 120 resistor?

from m365_dashboard.

McKaNaN avatar McKaNaN commented on May 30, 2024

This is the resistor

Diode shows:
PH
41
48

Is correct?

from m365_dashboard.

augisbud avatar augisbud commented on May 30, 2024

You might wanna try a 1n4148 diode although they seem to be very similar

from m365_dashboard.

McKaNaN avatar McKaNaN commented on May 30, 2024

I dont know....
I need to go to buy new diode.
I change + and - of diode, and shows same message :(

------ EDIT -------

Using multimeter, Diode shows: .559 V

Have you connect the same gnd for arduino and pcb?

from m365_dashboard.

McKaNaN avatar McKaNaN commented on May 30, 2024

Yes! The GND of Bluetooth PCB in GND of Arduino Mini Pro

from m365_dashboard.

McKaNaN avatar McKaNaN commented on May 30, 2024

Work it!

The problem was 120R and tolerance!!! OMG

Using 120R 0,25W resistor works correctly!
