jwtDecode is not a function about jwt-decode HOT 3 CLOSED

I had the same issue with Angular 17.

To solve the issue I changed my old code from import jwtDecode from 'jwt-decode'; to import { jwtDecode, JwtPayload } from 'jwt-decode';

from jwt-decode.

I tried 3.1.2 in Angular 15 and it seems to work fine, as in, the following code:

import jwtDecode from 'jwt-decode';
console.log(jwtDecode('eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJzdWIiOiIxMjM0NTY3ODkwIiwibmFtZSI6IkpvaG4gRG9lIiwiaWF0IjoxNTE2MjM5MDIyfQ.SflKxwRJSMeKKF2QT4fwpMeJf36POk6yJV_adQssw5c'));

Correctly logs the decoded token in the console:

So I cant realy reproduce this, can you please share a reproduction if you believe this is an issue with our library.
