I hit the same error. In the CSS file:
border-right:
It froze with "border-right" selected as the auto-complete issue. I had to kill emacs and restart. I'm running GNU Emacs 23.1.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) on Windows via EmacsW32.

I'm really interested to find out what is a cause of this issue. For me that happens for border css completion.

The same happened to me.
GNU Emacs 23.1.1
While editing css file it hangs with 'border:'. Emacs needs to be killed.

Same here. Emacs 23.1.1 hangs (100% CPU load) while editing the "border" property.

Just happened to me as I'm doing border auto completion in a CSS file. border is especially problematic. Is there any way to disable CSS auto completion?
