Does the title of your issue "Helpful fork script." mean that you'd like one or that you have one you'd like us to take a look at? As far as the process being painful, can you give more information? More details? Stuff we could take and digest for improving _s? Any and all opinions welcome!

Yes, I have been playing with _s over the last day or so. It's a great starting point, but greping and replacing all 3 of the different patterns can get confusing and annoying.
In my fork I shifted the root theme path up a directory, and added fork.sh. I'm not saying to reorganize your folder structure, but please think out simplifying the process a bit.
