Does Doubleclick really need this? Is this specified in its documentation somewhere - do you have a link? I haven't seen this used elsewhere so far.

Another issue for adbusters is the nypost function call in this file. Obviously this can't be used generically.

I am beginning to think this might have to remain in your theme.

I can circle back around with the Ad Ops team and see why it's needed. In any case, I was suggesting we add it to adbusters since it was sort of implied in the blog post that files such as this would have to be removed after 11/25. If you're OK with leaving it in the theme, I am.

I haven't figured out a way to handle themes that have made tweaks to the ad iframes yet, like nypost has done with crossdomain.xml :)

For now, let's give you an exception -- keep this file in the theme until/if/when we figure out how to handle customised ad iframe files.
