In PHP, when booleans are used in guzzle params and translated into URL using http_build_query then booleans are translated into 1(true) and ""(false) as described in OpenAPITools/openapi-generator#2204

A fix has been merged into our SDK Generator for this and the same should be available with the next release of SDK.

With the change, if the query param is Boolean then:

• Convert param value (true or false) to String "true" or "false" when passing it to call Avatax backend. (instead of numeric values)
• If the param value is NULL then pass NULL Object as is, which would eventually remove the query param from URL.

The generated code in SDK would be like:
$guzzleParams = [ 'query' => ['$include' => $include, 'documentType' => $documentType, 'useTaxDateOverride' => null === $useTaxDateOverride ? null : json_encode($useTaxDateOverride)], 'body' => json_encode($model) ];
