Students at Howard University do not always have the time to visit the student counseling office. Additionally, there are instances when the counseling office may not be able to schedule an appointment as soon as the student may want. By the time an appointment is made, it is possible that the student’s mood may have changed, and they will not be able to provide an accurate account of how they were feeling or why. There should be a way for students to monitor their moods, manage their moods if a counselor cannot see them in a timely manner, and for students to provide an accurate history of their feelings for counselors.
