Couldn't deploy python getting started example about amazon-kinesis-data-analytics-examples HOT 4 CLOSED

@jeremyber-aws Thank you! I've followed your documentation and got it working. For anyone who will be stacked here, to be able to see exact error you can: add some print statement at the top of your script, after you got "Could not execute application" error, go to CloudWatch group and search by your log text. It will let you find logs with concrete error thrown by your script (In my case I just had wrong name of config variable provided to KDA 😖)

Do you have the correct permissions in the application? It's saying InvalidApplicationCode, when you run locally are you using the right Flink version / Python version?

@jeremyber-aws I've faced the same error. I was following official guide - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kinesisanalytics/latest/java/gs-python-createapp.html. I double checked that I did everything as was told in instructions but it is not working. Do you have any ideas what I miss?

If it is working locally, I can only imagine it would be an error with permissions or packaging. Have you walked through the getting started guide found here?
