Hi @ronaldram, thanks for reporting the issue. This is coming from the cfn-lint dependency. Once they add the support, this should work for sam validate

@hnnasit I can see that the version SAM CLI, version 1.111.0 is using cfn-lint v.85.2, cfn-lint currently is in v.0.86.0 where it is supporting dotnet8.

You are right, the PR for bumping cfn-lint, which adds support for dotnet8, has been merged and will be released in the next SAM CLI release.
