What version should I use?
(Also you should change what version to use on the releases page as it says to use 2.77:
"Blender 2.77 Nightly"

use 2.78+, the only reason p10 says to use 2.77 is for the lighting model that was introduced, the one linked on the old revision page doesn't have it.
