Yeah, makes sense. We need to think how errors would be surfaced there. We can write errors to stdout and stderr, but we'd need to figure out a way to distinguish between different compilations (when the user saves changes)
Also, would it make sense to have something similar in VS code? Not sure how extensions usually handle that sort of thing.

I think that as we add more validation and squiggle support in the extension, watch will become less and less important. At least for now, I think running it in the VS Code terminal will be good enough.

Borrowing an idea from C, maybe we can fork and create pipes such that the parser is attached to the writing end and VSCode process to the reading end of the pipe. I am looking into REPL options in VSCode but didn't find much info.
