We tried to investigate and we saw that the issue appears after the commit 2697dcd of @sreimers .

In our case, if we rollback the the re.mk file from:

HAVE_NET_ROUTE_H := $(shell $(call CC_TEST,net/route.h))
ifneq ($(HAVE_NET_ROUTE_H),)
CFLAGS  += -DHAVE_NET_ROUTE_H
endif

to:

HAVE_NET_ROUTE_H := $(shell [ -f $(SYSROOT)/include/net/route.h ] && echo "1")
ifneq ($(HAVE_NET_ROUTE_H),)
CFLAGS += -DHAVE_NET_ROUTE_H
endif

it works correctly :)

Unfortunatelly, I do not know anything about the C and I do not undertand the changes so I cannot make a PR :(

But maybe someone understands the issue and can fix it 👼
