This also is related to handling dependencies as endpoints in bower.json, for example:
"dependencies": {
"jquery.appear": "[email protected]:MAXakaWIZARD/jquery.appear.git#0.3.*"
}Currently it does not work in bowerphp, however works in bower

Not yet.
We need to tweak some points in the source, mainly installPackage and getPackageTag in Bowerphp class.
Of course, PRs are welcome
