Does this also happen when you open the PDFs I provide? Or only with the ones you created?

Hmm, very strange. I never had any of your problems. I tested it with multiple versions of Apple Preview and Adobe Acrobat Pro, nevertheless every time on OS X. At the moment I don't have a Windows installation at hand to test it there. Off the top of my head I don't have any idea what could solve your problem. And as this is an old theme and I am no longer studying at the HSRM, I don't want to invest too much time looking into the problem.

Do you know the the mtheme by Matthias Vogelsang? It also looks very nice and is a bit more universal than my theme. And if you encounter any problems: it is still actively developed.
