Introduction distribution cannot install about bootstrap_package HOT 9 CLOSED

It did work when I clicked the link on the title, but not when I clicked the Install button. The link from the button ended with:
...action%5D=installDistribution&tx_extensionmanager_tools_extensionmanagerextensionmanager%5Bcontroller%5D=Download

and the link from the title (successful) ended with:
...action%5D=show&tx_extensionmanager_tools_extensionmanagerextensionmanager%5Bcontroller%5D=Distribution

Hey @AdvanceWM, i have no problems installing the stuff.
Maybe there is a problem with one of the ter mirrors you are accessing... maybe i get an answer from the server team.

sorry for taking so long, I was ill the whole week so I was not able to answer here in time. I am part of the ServerTeam of TYPO3 and would love to help you with this, but first of all I need a few informations to verify this behavior somehow because I am not sure how to debug this^^.

Are you able to tell me your exact TYPO3 Version?

That installation was symlinked on that server to TYPO3 6.2.4. If it makes a difference, the requesting server is in the Virginia, USA area.

On Saturday mid-day I was able to duplicate the issue. Clicking the install button produced:
Could not install distribution 'introduction'
Error: MD5 hash of downloaded file not as expected:
d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e != 71862e1b44517f46608316a4a943409f

while clicking the title enabled the installation.

Hey @AdvanceWM,

sorry for taking so long I needed some more rest to start full with energy in a new week =). So here I am. I tried to verify your problem and installed on 3 of my servers your TYPO3 version and tried to install @benjaminkott s extension and I had no problem at all. But all my server are in germany, so I am not sure where the problem is from.

One of my ideas is, that one of our replication servers is out of sync because of internal restructuration we are going to use a cdn for Extensions and so on soon.

If you have been able to solve the problem for yourself I would recommend to wait if the problem still exists after our switch to the CDN Version... Are you fine with this?
