There's a wealth of music under Free Culture licenses (and also nonfree 'non-commercial' licenses) at Free Music Archive, which you can download and use at no cost - just make sure that you follow the license terms, eg. Attribution in the credits of a video.

One artist who I can recommend is Javíer Suarez - Jahzzar - he makes a wide range of high-quality music in different styles, and I've also contracted him to make two paid compositions for animation projects.

Some feedback on this issue: I would be very happy to be proved wrong, but I feel that it is unlikely that musicians will sign up to collaborate at this stage without having a more specific context of how they may be contributing, and what they might get out of participating. An example interview video that needs music would certainly help.
