This behavior is by design. This way other players see that one can register and be part of some group ; it encourages them to register as well.

This can be understandable. But how many of them use it? As long as I use B3, no one has been register self. And why should they, there is no advantage. Except you get permissions ..
The option should be configurable.

I close this issue since pull request #27 will make this configurable in B3 1.10
