In that case, would be nice to have an API allowing plugin support for other databases. Seems like somehow supplying a custom model implementing the CRUD methods should do the trick? Would be great for mschema users, being that this is maybe the only module seamlessly bridging the gaps between mschema data and database X

Also lemme know if I just misunderstand how this package is meant to be used. Trying to get an mschema defined resource backed by a JSON file if I can be of any help.
