I think I'd prefer to go with editable_columns, as it's more explicit, on seeing that name you'd likely guess it controls which columns are editable. With just editable, it could be that, or it could be a boolean flag to indicate whether we should allow records to be edited.

EDIT: (plus, that makes it just a documentation fix rather than API change ;) )

Also, implemented not_editable_columns, as it was missing. (probably create a non_editable_columns alias would be cool)
