I managed to reproduce this locally.
I've fixed the underlying error - the YAML parser that Obsidian uses chokes on templated fields. I'm not entirely sure what exactly it is doing, but I've added a safeguard against it and the given example seems to work fine now.
Will be fixed in 0.1.8.

Hello, I've found the origin of the issue.
I had a template file that started with this frontmatter:
---
tags:
- {{tp_title}}
---
(syntax for templater plugin)
And the curly braces made the script break at line 9102.

I've seen templates trip that up..
What I did was just have my template use xtags instead of tags.. which prevents them from getting pulled in and counted by other things looking for tags..
