If you want to patch it right now, you can add this:
$permissions = array_merge($permissions, [-1]);
...here:

yaga/models/class.reactionmodel.php

Note that this should only be applied if your default category permission allow 'Vanilla.Discussions.View' (so no private community)

It seems that Vanilla has refactored their permission system. I'm still looking for a proper fix for the next version.

Did you update to a newer yaga-version recently?
If you are upgrading from YAGA 2.0.x or earlier, you would need to run dba/counts once (select "Recalculate Reaction.Latest").

i updated when you released it. I have run dba/counts once (select "Recalculate Reaction.Latest") but no content...

This seems to be a permission related issue in newer Vanilla versions. Weirdly I know a forum running 2021.006 that's affected by it and another one that isn't. I'll have to look into it some more.
