Out of curiosity, do you still have this problem in single-threaded mode?

Yes, I face the same problem in single-threaded mode.

I have a possible fix in my fork: http://github.com/dmcc/bllip-parser
I've done some minimal testing and so far it seems to work in all four (stdin, normal file) x (-K, no -K) modes. Please let me know if it fixes the issue for you.

Yes, it fixes my problem. Thanks.

I found problems. The following parse tree misses the . at the end.
This is a test.
(S1 (S (NP (DT This)) (VP (AUX is) (NP (DT a) (NN test)))))

One more thing. I found that there are 4 sentences in PTB that start with an '@' and bllip does not produce any parse tree for them if I do not provide the -K parameter.

I added a possible fix to my fork again -- please let me know if it fixes things for you.
Regarding the @ symbols, it seems that those are intentionally ignored (see http://github.com/BLLIP/bllip-parser/blob/master/first-stage/PARSE/ewDciTokStrm.C#L127)
