@Boris-Em
@Sam-Spencer not exactly duplicate since the scatter chart has a completely different logic behing the scenes to draw the chart with the dots only. In a scatter plot the x label values are less than the actual values inside the chart. Now this control only allows 1 value per x label.
thanks

HI @mythodeia,
This feature seems fairly simple to implement. What would be a good situation for a feature like this one to be useful?
Do you think that it would be interesting for the user to be able to hide/show the line dynamically?

@Boris-Em the idea was to be used in scatter plots.
However it would be a good add-on to be able to show hide the lines at will.

This feature has finally been added! Thanks for the suggestion. I hope you enjoy using the new displayDotsOnly property on BEMSimpleLineGraph.

@Sam-Spencer one question. When i enable the dots only option can i make the curves behind disappear? i only want to show the dots.

Sam-Spencer avatar Sam-Spencer commented on August 17, 2024

You can customize the graph as you would normally do so. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by curve?

I'm assuming you have a different color / gradient set for the bottom or top of the graph and there appears to be a curve? If that's the case, just set the bottom and top portions to the same color or gradient.

@Sam-Spencer
the following screenshot will show you how the chart is showing when topColor & bottomColor are the same.
I have commented out the gradientBottom & gradientTop. Even if i make them the same too it shows worse.

Sam-Spencer avatar Sam-Spencer commented on August 17, 2024

I'm not sure what exactly is going on there. Are you able to replicate this issue in the Sample App?
