Hello world, I'm Ilona 👋

I'm a product manager, maker, language learner and educational blogger. I come from a beautiful city of Parczew, Poland, but I'm based in Budapest, Hungary.

📑 Through my experience as a product manager in WP Engine, I've learned how to ship cool software that meets users needs - and how to do it collaboratively and efficiently. This, however, is a result of a lot of hard lessons I went through over the past 3 years, which I'm documenting in my product handbook. Product management is my gateway to becoming a more mature person in general and allows me to learn a lot of 'meta' skills that I've always been passionate about.

🇭🇺 After hours, I'm an avid learner of Hungarian language. I also like to make things that make my life easier, most of which are stored in this GitHub space.

👩‍🎓 I craft my non-institutional, personal education path on my own - I'm learning new things though reading, talking with people that know more about the thing I'm interested in (or with ChatGPT), trying and failing, taking online courses and making things. I document my ups, downs, tips and tricks on my blog 🇵🇱
