I'm musician ("opera singer" [hate that term] & organist/harpsichordist) and compose on my spare time. Maybe we can wait until I start working on it (if everyone agrees)?

new, original music always trumps copied music.. or thats is just what i think.

Agreed, original music would be awesome. I could contribute guitar (electric and acoustic), except I'm awful at actually creating original music, so maybe just layers.

Composition is full of calculus, you know :)
And the musics in Minecraft are quite simple. To write and to play. So that won't be difficult.

EDIT: I mean, to do something of the same level.
