The idea is to get a three-stage process for data input (when the source is a web-page or a pdf):

  1. Annotate/note a given source (done using hypothes.is in this case)
  2. Filter down to essential information (This should be the bridge between hypothes.is and Geist)
  3. Create a concept map out of this, separating the concepts from the source (but retaining the link)

Orignal source -> annotated source -> personalized core points -> concept map

The personalized core points can be in different wording, but is still mapped to source material.

For web-based sources, step 1. will involve hypothes.is
