I should write a doc...
To load a file:
SubRipFile.open('buffalo.srt')
Be careful with encoding, if you have a UnicodeDecodeError, try load like this:
SubRipFile.open('buffalo.srt', encoding='cp1252')
or latin1

Yeah, it works (also on python 2.4)... and yes, I think you must provide some more documentation ;-)
