These were fixed in #9. .cib is still required since we can't know for sure what you named your file like Cocoa can (cocoa can check both NAME and NAME.cib, we can't).

I think you misinterpreted the patch. In Cocoa you can leave off the .nib suffix and cocoa will synthesize it.
There is no check required, and the .cib suffix is mandatory for the actuall files. That is the behaviour the patch adds there.
Thats the reason I think it should go in.
By the way: how do I reopen an issue here? There seems to be no button for that. :-(
