Setup fail because pgadmin lock about fight-churn HOT 6 CLOSED

Hi, sorry for the slow reply. Have you found a workaround for this? I never saw this before. What exactly are you running when this happens? Are you importing your own data or running the simulation?

i gave up from that time because i'm data engineering, but if you know about it, i very want to read it again. i just add data in some table, about 4 table I can't do anything

I don't know, but I think you should definitely start over. Drop the schema "socialnet7" using the "Drop cascade" option when you right-click on it in PGAdmin. It doesn't take very long to run the scripts. Were you getting that error from the simulation? If it happens again please send me the command you ran.

i thinks this book have a lot of think to learn so i will try again, but can out share where you install pgadmin, i think i can fix it if I install right version. can you share the final link you test success

Hi, I gave some instructions to setup up PGAdmin on this page: https://github.com/carl24k/fight-churn/blob/master/readme_files/prereq.md. I give a link to PGAdmin and then some pics of basic usage. To delete a schema or table you can right-click on it and you need to use "Cascade Delete" - I hope that helps. I'm not really a Posgres expert.

Thanks for your response, i was remember that some table in this book not have primary key, that is the reason Postgres not allow me to import data. maybe this database is good for pratice this book. Hope you can fix it in future. Thank you again.
