This is probably how we'll do the authentication (this is with the default django auth we'll need to scrap the DB users and such).

Scratch that one.... that points to adding a custom user in version 1.5. Since heroku doesn't handle python 3, we won't be able to run any of that stuff. Time to try something else.

Accounts seem to work for now, but they don't have cookies. However, it is possible for users to log in and register, so this is closed.
