Hi,
range_list is an artifact of a feature that BFF/FOE had when it only fuzzed a single file. At some point we had an internal bug filed that the feature wasn't working properly. Potentially related to seedfile rotation.
We decided to deprecate the feature rather than investigate, as it wasn't clear how useful it was anyway. If it's still present in the readme, that's an oversight.
You're more than welcome to investigate whether the range_list feature might work. Probably use BFF's debug mode as well. But be aware that the feature isn't officially supported.
