In order to support different transport layers (UDP and DTLS) we have modified the CoAP engine to add context passing (which is required by CoAP). We have updated the 6lbr-demo examples, but not the er-rest-client yet. You need to create a udp context and pass it to COAP_BLOCKING_REQUEST()
