Here's a solution I've been using to check loom, with all configurations of interest.
It's a bash script paired with a python script, they run the analysis for each config at a single phase (=0.1)
and, if successful, you'll get the results of the analysis saved in a folder (they can be re-loaded with 'pickle').
It automatically parallelizes the various tasks.
Note: I had to add .txt extensions to both files to attach them here, of course they should be removed to run the files.

This is great, but I imagine a pythonic test module will be helpful in the long run. Actually having a nose
test submodule is kind of a standard procedure. Of course I am not planning to work on it right now, I just put it here so that we can revisit this issue later.
