The API for GenericHash differs significantly from the implementation in libsodium-net.
libsodium-net implements GenericHashAlgorithm as an extension of HashAlgorithm. As this class is not present in UWP, libsodium-uwp implements the streaming API similar to HashAlgorithmProvider/MacAlgorithmProvider. This decision was made to provide an API's UWP developers are already familiar with.
