Hey fbab,
thanksfor the kind words!
The thing is, Jekyll Search needs and input element (searchInput, '.search') to listen for queries by the user, and also an element to display the search results (searchResults, '.results').
Today or tomorrow, I will rewrite the library, because I've seen that it is no very user/developer friendly.
