My guess is that Elasticsearch started and then probably died, most likely due to resources issues. If you run docker ps -a you should see the containers, including the elasticsearch container. What is its status? If you run docker-compose logs elasticsearch what does it say towards the bottom? Check your docker-compose.yml file and look at the memory settings for the elasticsearch service. I don't recommend running Malcolm on a system with less than 16GB of RAM. I've seen it run on 12 and even 10, but performance goes downhill pretty fast.
