Remember, crosssite post requests are forbidden in codesandbox. You might have to try this locally. It's just to give you an idea.

Change the dataType to 'form' and it should work, whereas for 'json' it shouldn't

I think I need to dig a bit deeper. It feels like I am making a mistake somewhere, but with more revelations, I'll get back to you if I find the problem.

Ok, thanks, let me know if you need more help! :) I'm glad that you're testing it out with nested components.

On the top of my head, I'm not sure if bind:value can be applied directly to a Svelte component. I usually just pass it without bind. Not sure how reactive it will be in that case though... let me know how it goes!
