DB Check w/MongoHQ about calipso HOT 2 CLOSED

Maybe the database startup test needs to be abstracted then, one file = one test for one db implementation.

I think the old test that I wrote worked. If you changed what db, and what implementation of it, mongo 'supports', then may as well change the test, or add an appropriate one.

I had written that test just so that people wouldn't get the install/startup dilemma of - "everything looks like it should work, but it doesn't".

A better test might be to try to run "mongo" at the command prompt from a script called by calipso.

This is now fixed in commit 0126b94, verified that it works ok in MongoHQ - including sensible errors where possible.
