As this repo has been inactive for about 7 months, and no new release for over 1 year, I tried to reach out to the maintainers via email, but no response for 9 days.

I'd like to maintain the forked repo, https://github.com/devops37/ansible-node-exporter

Sadly me and @paulfantom have not had time to keep maintaining these roles.

We had the idea that we wanted to convert the whole project over to a new-style Ansible role collection, so that the common code toil would be reduced. Right now a lot of the reason we haven't done much is because the automated code sync from our skeleton project is a bit broken.

I'd love to get this idea going again, we talked about starting a new project under prometheus-community.
