First, try the file example-avr.ini and rename/copy it to avr.ini. Did you read the description in this file ?
I remember this strange "freeze" behavior of your Yamaha you described before. There is nothing like this in any of my AVRs. Let me think ... 🤔
Remember... whole filtering is a combination of all filtering settings (if you add some filtering to e.g. AllowedTags than this will have impact to other selections like countries and languages and vice versa).

Please try with example-avr.ini renamed it to avr.ini and let me know if/where this "freeze" behavior occurs and attach screen-dump as before. I have some suspicions... but I won't do anything without your help. 💪

After consulting with Beatrice and testing YTuner v1.1.0 with her Yamaha DSP-Z7, I can mark this issue as a bug. However, the described problem does not apply to all AVRs (e.g. it does not apply to my RX-V671).
The problem is related to client side filtering (added with v1.1.0). There is no perfect solution at this point. In case of such a problems, it is best not to use the filters described in example-avr.ini until a new solution is developed.
Please let me know if anyone else has encountered this problem.
Anyway, there is already an idea to solve the problem. After Xmas, I will try to implement new ideas.

same on my avr-x3200W. But I had it also with original Vtuner and Ycast. This is a receiver problem. The implementation of radio is very slow and has low memory. A refresh of the page solves it often.

Iteresting ... I thought I had figured out what the problem was and it had to do with client-side filtering. The problem is that I have no way to check it by myself. Everything works fine with my AVRs.
The implementation of radio is very slow and has low memory.
What do you mean? Radio-browser implementation by YTuner or AVR's firmware implementation to browse stations?
What kind of refresh of the page you're writing about? On the AVR device side? Interesting ... My Yamahas have no such thing as a page refresh.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback. 👍
Probably the next release of YTuner will have cache of the full Radio-browser database. It won't be difficult, but if the problems that Bea writes about and also happen to you are not related to what I'm thinking about, the problem probably won't be solved this way. 🤔

Is you use the Denon IOS app you can go to Internet Radio and then see all the radios listed. When I select some and put it in my favorites and this list is long it will almost never load in full. when refreshing the list it is there. Same if you use an API or GET to get the list from the Denon recevier.

Interesting ... good to know 👍
I assume you have updated your AVR with the latest firmware version for your model.
Anyway, I'll try to make a new release of YTuner with a full cache of the Radio-browser stations. 🚀
We'll see how it works ... 🤔

@TheBossME
Beatrice
Now, you can test new YTuner v1.2.0 with local database cache capability. Use one of [catDB,catMemDB,catPermMemDB] value to set RBCacheType param of ytuner.ini Radiobrowser section. Please let me know if the problems described in this issue have disappeared or are still exists.
If this "freeze" behavior still occurs, the only explanation left is @Larsvb0 concept mentioned here #11 (comment)

@Larsvb0
I'm curious about your conclusions described before here #11 (comment)
Can you check if this behavior occurs with YTuner 1.2.2 and full db cache option like catDB,catMemDB or catPermMemDB?
This would give a clear answer whether it is actually related to the implementation on the AVR side.

I tested to see if there is any difference and I could not detect it.

Not detecting the difference (this strange behavior still occurs) or no longer detecting this issue in YTuner 1.2.2? 😉

I'm closing this issue due to inactivity.
