Sure, but which wiki page link on what home page? :D Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with Debian.
EDIT: Oh, I see, there is now a wiki on github. I didn't even know about that feature (nor did I get a notification about it). But still: link that where?

Somewhere in the readme, as your instructions are more for systemd (i think?) based systems.
Plus figuring out which packages fit the descriptions you gave was a bit of trial an error. And writing the polkit rule would be something many users may not figure out easily.
So that makes using udiskie in Ubuntu very simple to do now.

Ok, great, thanks for your effort!
You should mention that your instructions are for UDisks1 (which has some problems, that are fixed by UDisks2).
BTW: in c78e592, I removed the following PolicyKit rule from the README. That might have been a bit premature (it's just, that on arch new upstream releases get adapted pretty fast, which makes me forget that other distros still use the old versions).
[udiskie]
Identity=unix-group:storage
Action=org.freedesktop.udisks.filesystem-mount;org.freedesktop.udisks.luks-unlock;org.freedesktop.udisks.drive-eject;org.freedesktop.udisks.drive-detach
ResultAny=yes
This is a bit shorter and restricts access to users in the storage group. So maybe you can check it out, if you want.
Best regards,

I will test it and see if I can find the 'Debian' standard for this, thanks!
