Mount option `compress=lzo' is not allowed about udiskie HOT 2 CLOSED

Hey,

The error you see is raised by UDisks (not udiskie). For some reason their check in is_mount_option_allowed (udiskslinuxfilesystem.c) does not allow the compress option. I don't know enough about this topic to say if that's a deliberate decision (i.e. security related) or they just didn't bother to include it. In the latter case, it could be as simple as adding compress to the any_allow array.

Can you ask them about this topic?

You'd probably want to send your example using the command

udisksctl mount --block-device /dev/sdb1 --options "rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,compress=lzo,space_cache,autodefrag"

By the way, the other config entries in your config.yml should be under a program_options key, i.e.:

program_options:
  udisks_version: 2
  tray: false
  automount: false
  notify: true

Still not working, guess i'll keep using /etc/fstab entry
