putting links here which Melanie proposed https://barometre.parlons-velo.fr/2021/carte/#13.77/48.86208/2.33858

This reminds me of something that @ryanrakusin proposed during the start-up workshop: to let bikers vote where they think parking spots are most necessary!
From what you describe it sounds like the city already has quite a nice platform to implement this :)

The map of requests for bike parking is really interesting. It looks like there's a lot of concentration around intersections. Is it because these are also where metro or train stations are located?

I find it really interesting, too. The points of concentrations seem to be around big metro stations, and train stations. It is also interesting to see that at Châtelet and République, the cluster is bigger/spread wider -- I think this is because especially at these stations, the metro entrances are also spread this wide.
Wondering how we can make use of this information. So maybe public transport entrances are one of the big factors to consider when calculating demand. here are some more results of the survey: https://barometre.parlons-velo.fr/2021/palmares/#11.18/48.8589/2.2789 (click on "en route" and then on paris)

A note/update from the meeting with city of paris:
- It is not planned to change the scope of Dans Ma Rue to include bike infrastructure issues
- They are preparing a survey at the moment on bike parking, results will be available at the end of the year

Closed because we won't continue working on this direction in the scope of our project.
