Conducted extensive inter-disciplinary research between Operating Systems and Data Mining to simulate an operating system that improves the hit-to-miss ratio by predicting users’ behavior The algorithm adheres to the logic of the Optimal Page Replacement (OPT) algorithm. It takes into consideration the near-future requirements of the pages by tracking the user's activity and evicts pages that will not be required any sooner. The algorithm improved the hit-to-miss ratio by 78% in simulations. The following code provides a simulation of an operating system running with IPRA.

Developed an android application that displays the top ten lists of different categories like apps, music, albums, TV seasons etc and also displays some information about each item in the list. The user can select the category he wishes to view. The application downloads and reads Apple’s RSS feeds, processes the data from the feed and displays the information to the user. The content of the application updates automatically as the RSS feed updates. The application uses the XML Pull Parser Factory to read the XML file of the feed and display the information to the user.
