I don't understand why they won't allow such an add-on in classic, i mean, it was in classic in 2004-2006, right?
For people like me who enjoy an easy playstyle this really sucks :(

I think if the addon flew under the radar it could pass. Maybe @cubenicke should set up a patreon sub for a classic version if it can work! I'm sure it needs some edits for it to run on classic though, stress was giving lua errors and the commands didn't work. Let us know I'd pay you for the work for sure.

This addon is good first project, it's quite easy to learn lua and how wow addons are built up.

Of just protects functions like GetSpellByName or whatever the one is :)

They tried to stop all auto play addons during vanilla, and fury is in that category... General I think they want to promote all addons, to get a bigger community.

@cubenicke Right now, you enable the addon and it doesn't even work. Load in, Fury only addon enabled. /fury and it just gives the /help thing, same if you do /fury help. It doesn't even see the addon because of the patch version I guess?

With them not running the old API it might break a lot of functions. I used to have a heroic strike/MS macro. Things like UnitMana("player") doesn't work anymore. edit quick google search i think it was changed to https://wow.gamepedia.com/API_UnitPower

Hey @cubenicke. We don't actually get an error message. It just doesn't return anything. It is listed as "out of date" on the AddOn List and when we force-load it, it simply does nothing. /fury command is not recognized.

I don't want to spoil your hope. But when checking the API, they have moved all fun API to secure call so it doesn't look good to fix fury.
