I know the file isn't corrupt because i can view the photo with Windows Photo Viewer
Edit-
I think I figured it out, the file extention was jpg while it was suppose to be GIF. My suggestion is maybe if its possible still open the jpg file as a gif or load the preview picture so it doesn't show the error, if you don't like those ideas then put some information in the error message saying to change the jpg file to gif.
