Markdown Extra but the Editor use Simple Markdown, htmly use this editor http://code.google.com/p/pagedown/ but the library using Markdown Extra. We can use this actually https://github.com/jmcmanus/pagedown-extra

@danpros, @lightonflux I am working on a replacing of the editor with a adapt version of StackEdit (GitHub of StackEdit). At the moment I have no running version. When it's working, I will share it.

@fanningert yes stackedit.io is great online editor, it would be great if we have that editor built in.
