Hi, darko314. By my reading of RFC 4180, this is actually correct behavior. Specifically, "Spaces are considered part of a field and should not be ignored" (section 2, rule 4). The space character at the start of your field (after "a,") means the relevant ABNF rule is "non-escaped", whose TEXTDATA does not allow for double quotes (%x22).

Is there a popular program that is generating this file, like Microsoft Excel? If so, you might be able to suggest adding a special case for such files.

Alternatively, perhaps a solution would be a better error message here. This one does seem sort of strange, in this particular case.

This should work with the 2.1.0 release, and there's a unit test for this as well.

In a nutshell, CHCSVParser assumes that whitespace at the beginning of a field is insignificant, despite being reported with the field.
